It’s common now for authors to promote their books with trailers, similar to the coming attractions you see in movie theaters. I see them frequently on author websites or at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble’s site. It’s no secret that I’m a diehard fan of the works of both Alfred Hitchcock and Walt Disney. I know, it sounds bizarre. No two men could be more different. Or are they? There’s a lot of humor in Hitchcock’s films, and more heart than he gets credit for. And some of Disney’s most famous works have a delicious dark streak to them.
